Madeleine Baking Class

This Korean Style Madeleine Baking Class offers a comprehensive, chef-led experience focused on mastering the art of making traditional madeleines with a Korean twist. Conducted in English, this class provides a fully hands-on environment suitable for beginners and intermediate bakers. Participants will learn how to create melt-in-your-mouth madeleine batter, achieve the iconic "hump," and select appropriate madeleine pans for optimal results.

The class covers baking techniques for both home and commercial ovens, ensuring versatility for various baking setups. Students will experiment with four types of fillings—raspberry, caramel, mascarpone, and vanilla—and four types of glaze, including matcha, dark chocolate, strawberry, and white chocolate.

Featured recipes include Lemon Raspberry Crumble, Double Chocolate Caramel, Hojicha Mascarpone, and Classic Vanilla Bean. Each participant will bring home 12 homemade madeleines, with three pieces per flavor, each measuring approximately 8cm x 5cm. The class includes a full-color recipe booklet for future reference. Materials used include premium ingredients and professional-grade madeleine pans, with the focus on technique and flavor pairing. The class is suitable for groups of 4 to 8 persons. It is vegetarian friendly, containing eggs, dairy, and wheat, and free from pork, lard, alcohol, and gelatin.

Skills Future

Class is not skills future accredited.We would have to extend the class beyond 7 hours and markup the price by 35% in order to qualify for funding. We simply don't believe in wasting your time and money to learn baking.
