The Bread Foundation Class for Beginners is an introductory bread baking course designed for individuals new to baking. Offered in English, this class provides foundational skills necessary to create various types of bread. It is suitable for entry-level learners seeking practical, hands-on experience in bread baking.
Participants are provided with all necessary equipment and an apron for the duration of the class. The course utilizes ingredients including gluten, eggs, and dairy products. The bread recipes taught during the class do not include pork, lard, or alcohol, aligning with vegetarian dietary standards.
The class size is limited to 4 to 8 persons, ensuring ample individual attention. Class duration is from 9am to 2pm, covering approximately 5 hours of instruction. Specific physical measurements are not applicable, but the class environment accommodates small groups for optimal learning.
The course fee includes all necessary baking equipment, an apron, and instruction in English. No additional ingredients or materials are required from participants. Not included are personal baking tools or ingredients beyond those provided for class use.
Participants are advised to follow any specific care instructions provided for cleaning equipment or maintaining baked bread. The course does not include a warranty; technical or ingredient-related issues are managed during class. No special cleaning procedures are necessary beyond standard kitchen hygiene practices.
Bookings are final and non-refundable. If we cancel the class, you will receive a full refund. If you cannot attend, you may send a replacement student in your place at no extra charge. Rescheduling fees applies for non medical emergencies.

All ingredients used in class are vegetarian friendly. No pork. No lard. Sourdough loaves are vegan. Other bakes may contain eggs, butter and dairy products. Please inform us if you have dietary concerns.
Class is not SkillsFuture accredited. We would have to extend the class beyond 7 hours and markup the price by 35% in order to qualify for funding. We simply don't believe in wasting your time and money to learn baking.Â
