You will learn how to scale ingredients and use both hand mixing and machine dough mixing techniques. Fermentation with instant yeast.
You will learn how to shape dough suitable for buns, ovals, tin loaves, and decorative roses. You will learn how to enclose fillings and useful piping techniques for coffee buns.
Finally, you will learn how to bake with domestic home ovens. Basic bread theory and dough handling techniques throughout class.
Exclusive invite to private online group for students only. You will continue to receive guidance as you continue your baking journey at home. You will also have life time access to all pre-recorded tutorial videos.

Absolutely! This baking class is designed with beginners in mind, guiding you through all the key steps to create delicious bread from scratch. If you prefer learning from home, we also offer some online baking classes with the same approachable, beginner-friendly style.
No need! Everything is provided. You just need to show up with your enthusiasm and be ready to bake.
It usually runs for about five hours, giving you ample time to practise and refine your bread-making skills.

Class is not SkillsFuture accredited. We would have to extend the class beyond 7 hours and markup the price by 35% in order to qualify for funding. We simply don't believe in wasting your time and money to learn baking.
