French Pastry Tarts class in Singapore offers a comprehensive, hands-on baking experience designed for beginner and intermediate level participants. Conducted in English from 9am to 1pm, this class provides direct guidance from experienced chefs and uses premium ingredients to ensure quality results.
The course focuses on creating modern French pastry tarts with an emphasis on professional dough making and shaping techniques. Students will learn secrets to achieve long-lasting crispy tart shells suitable for both home and commercial ovens. The class covers the preparation of seven less-sweet insert flavors, including chocolate salted caramel, lemon curd, matcha cream, and raspberry vanilla.
Participants will practice piping, glazing, and decorating their own tarts, gaining skills applicable to various baking settings. Each student will create and take home eight individual tarts, with two pieces of each flavor, approximately 8cm in diameter. The course includes a full-color recipe booklet for future reference.
The class is vegetarian friendly, containing eggs, dairy, and wheat, with no pork, lard, alcohol, or gelatin used during the session. Suitable for groups of 4 to 8 persons, this class is ideal for baking enthusiasts interested in mastering French pastry tarts in a practical, interactive environment.
