Ingredients:
100g Plain/ bread flourÂ
60g Sourdough Discard or Starter
50g Water
5g Butter
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Chilli pepper
½ tsp Dried herbs
2 tsp Grated parmesan
¼ tsp Instant yeast (optional)
Place all ingredients in a bowl and knead until dough is smooth, shiny and firm. You may do this mixing by hand, or use a stand mixer with dough hook attachment.
Divide dough into 15g portions. Roll into logs about 1 cm thick and 25 cm in length. Gently place rolled logs on lined baking tray.
Place a small portion of dough in a small jar to gauge dough rise.
Once dough has doubled, egg wash lightly and add cheese toppings (optional).
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 mins till golden brown and crispy.
